MAKEUP APPOINTMENT RETAINER POLICY

​

Due to my busy schedule and working by appointment only, makeup appointments require non-refundable retainer fee up front. To secure an appointment, you must pay the retainer fee when booking to hold your spot for the desired date and time. Please be advised, dates and scheduled makeup appointments will only be reserved when payment is made. Your payment will be non-refundable if you cancel your appointment for any reason. You have 30 days from the date the payment was received to transfer the retainer fee to a future appointment.

LATE POLICY FOR REGULAR MAKEUP APPOINTMENTS

 

A late fee of $25 will be charged for every 15 minutes of delay when a client is late for a scheduled appointment time without at least a 2 hour notice. This will be paid for in advance before services begin. Clients who are 30 minutes late are subject to an automatic cancellation of appointment at the discretion of Rated Pretty Girl Makeup Artistry.  If client shows, Rated Pretty Girl Makeup Artistry will try to accommodate the client at a later time based on that day's schedule but the late fee will still incur and must be paid before the new appointment has been rescheduled. This is Non-Negotiable.

WEDDING PAYMENT POLICY

Payment is expected in full on or before thirty (30) days before event date payable by Cash/Paypal/Credit Card for the remaining balance. In the event that the event date is booked less than 2 months before, the full balance is due at the time of booking with Cash or Card unless discussed otherwise. If the client has an outstanding balance on the wedding day services will NOT be rendered.

TRAVEL/HOTEL POLICY

Travel is included in pricing for on-location makeup appointments and wedding located within the Hampton Roads area. Locations outside of the 30 mile radius will incur an additional round trip fee.

 

Hotel accommodations will be needed for locations more than 2 hours away or where start times are 7:30am or earlier. The hotel fee will be discussed with the client and Rated Pretty Girl Makeup Artistry and added to the contract.

CANCELLATION POLICY

You may cancel your services at any time however; you will forfeit any and all retainers and/or payments made. In the event that Rated Pretty Girl Makeup Artistry is unable to perform services for any reason including but not limited to sickness, accident, weather, etc., reasonable accommodations shall be made up to and including a full refund of retainers for services not provided. Full Cancellation policy is in contract for bridal parties.

CREDIT CARD/DEBIT CARD/PAYMENT PLAN POLICY

A small processing fee of 2.9% (rounded to the nearest $1) will occur when using Paypal for all transactions including deposits and swiping credit/debit cards.

​

For all wedding payment plan arrangements, an additional fee will be added on to the total cost of services as an convenience fee. The payment plan fee will be discussed with the client and Rated Pretty Girl Makeup Artistry and added to the contract.
